Wilmington, N.C.

A thank-you letter was sent to the Wilmington, N.C., franchise this past summer on behalf of the New Hanover County Department of Aging:

Dear proprietors of Two Men and a Truck,

On behalf of the Staff Members of the New Hanover County Dept. of Aging and the Seniors of our county, I wish to express my sincere gratitude for your participation in the WECT Fran's Fans project. Your company did a highly commendable job with the delivery of over 300 fans to the Dept. of Aging. Due to your prompt delivery of these fans, we were able to provide them to the seniors who were waiting at our door the day after the collection. The weather has already been unbearably hot for the seniors, and the fans are being distributed rapidly. Without your assistance, this project would not go as smoothly as it does. Thank you for your highly valued community service.

Milwaukee, Wis.

This letter was recently sent to the location in West Allis, Wis.

It was truly a pleasure working with your company. The movers were prompt, extremely efficient and friendly. We were a bit concerned because we needed furniture moved to three locations. The whole process went very well. You were my first point of contact in the Customer Service area. I also spoke to Jessica. Both of you were knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Thank you for relieving the stress from our lives on that hectic day. We will be happy to use your services again. Great job!

Sincerely,
Colleen

Willmington, N.C.

A customer of the Willmington office just e-mailed this to the corporate headquarters after receiving our reply card survey ...

I am in the midst of some huge work right now, and little time for surveys, however you folks did a decent job. Tricia, here at the Wilmington office off Hwy. 421 was particularly wonderful. She deserves many kudos!

Thank you,
Nancy

Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

A thank-you note from a customer who used the Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., franchise ...

Attention:

I would like to take this opportunity after the dust has settled to let you know how pleased we are with the service that was provided during our moving day on Oct. 29th.

I would like to commend your employees for their high level of professionalism and service that they provided. If you have some kind of compensation for your employees, I feel that the following persons should be recognized:

Phillip Warren- who originally came out to coordinate the estimate and organize the move.

The Movers:
Chad-Josh-Richard-and Devlou (not sure if I spelled the last one correctly).

We had used your company once before last year in Ft. Lauderdale, and had been quite pleased with the work and service provided, which by the way was the reason why decided to use your services again, but this time your movers went far and beyond their call of duty. They never said to me, we can't, but yes, we can! Even when they arrived at the new office and were confronted with the difficulty of using a ramp heading downward and small elevators, their professionalism and expertise were impeccable.

It is refreshing to know in this day and age where customer service has fallen to the wayside, that there are still employees and companies that go the extra mile for their customers.

I commend them and your company for the excellent job! Well done! Our recommendation for the use of your services will be extended to others for their moving needs. (By the way, we have another office to move sometime next year in Boca, so we will be calling your company again) Thank you for making a difficult task be totally worry free!

Kansas City, Mo.

Correen, a customer of the Kansas City, Mo., franchise wrote to our Home Office to find out if there was a way to let her movers know how fantastic they were on her move ...

Thank you so much. I must say I have never seen three men work ((James Kirkwood, Deshawn Rooney and Ronald Munson) that hard in my entire life. We had 24 years of stuff to move and some of the furniture was very heavy. They were workers and very polite and professional too. I would highly recommend your company because of these three men. Our sod was not down yet and it had rained in Missouri for 2 weeks straight they had to use our stairs and carry all of that down. Could you please forward me their names so I can write a fantastic letter about them and also fill out the survey too?

Thanks so much,

Correen

Customer service representatives, movers and drivers from the Northern Kentucky location created a "Haunted Truck" for the Fall Festival, Oct. 16. The event was held at Sherman Elementary School. Two trucks were parked side-by-side. And the team used moving pads to create a maze filled with strange sights and sounds. The Haunted Truck proved to be one of the most popular activities at the festival.
