Fairfield, Ohio

The Butler County, Ohio (Fairfield) franchise recently worked with The Butler County Family & Children First Council on the Butler County Community Wraparound Program.

The objective of Wraparound is to work with families to create a team to plan and deliver services and supports to families in need. Every family’s team is unique and is made up of the people that know and care about the family the most. Teams consist of informal supports such as friends, family, neighbors, church members and others in the family’s life who wants to help the family succeed. In addition, formal supports such as therapists, teachers, case managers and other professionals working with the family are asked to participate in the planning process. Together, all team members work together to improve, strengthen, and stabilize family functioning and child well-being, according to the organization's Web site.

The franchise's donations helps a family transition into a new home with their own possessions.

Sharon L. Custoer, Wraparound Program Director, wrote in a recent thank-you letter ...

"It is one thing to help out a family in need; it is another to do so in such a supportive and nonjudgemental way. Not many companies have your compassion or respect for families."

The Sharonville, Ohio, office of TMT recently worked with HOPE worldwide -- an international charity that changes lives by harnessing the compassion and commitment of dedicated staff and volunteers to deliver sustainable, high-impact, community-based services to the poor and needy.

Andy Erickson, director of the Cincinnati chapter, wrote ...

"TWO MEN AND A TRUCK provided a vision of what an effort like this can be when the community comes together to provide for some of its neediest members. I took away significant learnings to apply to future efforts. And I especially look forward to partnering with  you again."

Asheville, N.C.

A letter from a happy repeat customer ...

I am about to use your services once again in less then three months. Every experience with you has been exceptional. Your office on Hendersonville Road has been sensitive to my needs in a very emotional time for me. I had to move my mom in Sept. to an Assisted Living Facility in Asheville. I now have to move her again (scheduled for Mon. Jan. 11, 2010) and I feel your people here have been caring and helpful to the maximum. The girl that took my call (I am sorry I don't remember her name) treated my dilemma as if she was part of the family and the the last move with your company here sent me two wonderful guys that helped me through a difficult time with this move. Excellence should be rewarded. I just could not let this experience go by without sharing a compliment because they all deserve it. The last move had a bit of a glitch on the timing but it was how it was handled that made the difference. My hat is off to all the folks at Two Men and a Truck in the Hendersonville NC location.

Bellevue, Wash.

On Jan. 5, the Home Office Quality Control team recieved a positive letter from a customer fromt the Seattle-area who said her movers were "exemplary" ... and even though the  move took longer than she had expected, the moving team was excellent. She said the lead mover was "superb in how he managed to get everything on the truck and unloaded."

Congratulations to the crew: Driver Chris Skoglund and Mover Brian Cauzillo.

You are lucky to have such employees. I think one guys name was Jim and the other last name was Peterson. Thanks again. I will tout your service anytime.

Wyoming, Mich.

Home Office recieved this incredible letter about the Grand Rapids South, Mich., (located in Wyoming) and it's work with Toys for Tots in 2009.

Dear Sir or Madam,

There really was not space on your survey for me to convey my gratitude and appreciation for our local Two Men and a Truck. The past two years they have served as primary pick up people for our local Toys for Tots program. This year, with their help, we were able to get new toys to almost 10,000 kids in the Grand Rapids/Kent County area. Without them we could not have done this.

I wear a number of hats with this program. As the primary toy buyer I often spend $5,000 to $10,000 at a stop. This is a lot of toys at a time when retailers have little space to store them. Not once have they been unable to pick these toys up the day of purchase. Not once! Michigan is in its worst economic status in history and keeping all these retailers happy is very important to us.

As one of the organizers of our "toy bay" I was able to meet several of the young men doing the pick ups when toys were dropped off. They couldn't have been more helpful, polite or professional. You should be very proud of all these young men.

I can't say enough about your office staff as well. They are the most polite, helpful and professional people I have had the pleasure to deal with in a long time. As a 20 year dispatcher at the local Sheriff's Department I know too well how important that phone contact is.

I would personally ask that each and every one of these people receive a large raise and two more weeks of paid vacation! They have all truly earned it! In lieu of that I just want to you know what an asset this company is to our community and that they have generated nothing but good publicity and word of mouth for your company.

Sincerely,

Mindy Pierman
